The Primo 2 is powered by a 1.9GHz Amilogic Quadore CPU and 2GM RAM, ensuring reliable and stable operation of the operating system. Control is via a web interface or the Volumio app for smartphones and tablets (iOS and Android), which can be downloaded from the Play Store or App Store.

Music sources can be USB storage devices, NAS, or various streaming services such as TIDAL, Qobuz, Highresaudio, Spotify Connect, or TIDAL Connect. The Primo 2 features multi-room functionality and is equipped with the latest version of Volumio – Volumio AI with Supersearch, an AI-powered search function for optimizing music searches.
