The Primo Plus is designed as a dual-mono DAC with two ESS ES9039Q2M converter chips, delivering exceptionally detailed and natural resolution. Improvements to the power supply and signal-processing electronics guarantee minimal distortion and virtually jitter-free playback. Compared to the Primo 2, the connectivity options have been made more versatile: The Primo Plus features both optical (Toslink) and electrical (RCA) digital inputs, and a 12V trigger output allows for convenient remote activation of compatible devices. Control is via a web interface or the Volumio app for smartphones and tablets (iOS and Android), which can be downloaded from the Play Store or App Store. Music sources can be USB storage devices, NAS, or various streaming services such as TIDAL, Qobuz, Highresaudio, Spotify Connect, and TIDAL Connect.
